Tobermory Lighthouse Poppies

Rubha Nan Gall Lighthouse is situated just north of Tobermory on the Isle of Mull and was constructed in 1857 by David & Thomas Stevenson. Nearby sits a memorial (plaque), indicating the points of view across the sea, where these poppies had been placed:

"On this spot, much loved and frequented by him, this memorial is erected by his many friends in memory of Robert brown of Stronsaule who died on 18th January 1936"
