Balloons over Clifton Suspension Bridge

An early morning view of the Clifton Suspension Bridge, with the early rising hot air balloons, from the world famous Bristol International Balloon Fiesta, in the background. The bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the Avon Gorge and the River Avon, linking Clifton in Bristol to Leigh Woods in North Somerset. The bridge was built, based on an earlier design by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, and every year affords stunning views as the balloons drift over it.
