Polperro Cave, Cornwall

Description

Located on Polperro Beach, Cornwall, adjacent to the harbour, and under a cottage belonging to the smuggler Willy Wilcox, lies a cave which (rumoured to have a secret passage to the cottage) was used to retrieve contraband. Rumour has it that Willy drowned in the cave as the tide came in and haunts the cave to this day.
